• WEB PAGE - A document (usually in HTML language) at a physical address on the internet (this page is at myautomail.com/thesaur.htm), and is available for anyone to look at.

• FFA - Free For All links page, a web page where you can list your marketing headline and address (link) to your web page.
• URL - Universal Resource Locator - the actual web page address. It can be expressed as a name (http://myautomail.com) or as a number sequence, such as http://38.201.147.207. Similar to you being addressed by your full home address or your phone number.
• OPT-IN - A person who has opted to be listed on a mail list, normally accepting email from other members or at least from the list owner. We use only double verified member lists!
• SPAM - Unsolicited Email (electonically transmitted mail).
• REFERRER - An associate, Affiliate or commissioned sales person, but not an employee!
• LINK - An electronic connection or address linked to a site. Usually a banner link but also a text link has now become more popular.
• BANNER - A message area bigger then a button, usually with a link to a specific page or site people will be connected to when they click on it.
• CGI - Common Gateway Interface - A popular programming language used for most user input on most forms, such as order forms, to pass information between programs or to a database.
• MLM - Multi Level Marketing, like a commisioned sales person but payment is made on your sales and on some or all of those below you.
• AUTO RESPONDER - An Email address that automatically sends back a preset message when you send an Email to it.
